One Tequesta Point was completed in 1995 as the first building in the three-tower Tequesta Point complex, developed by Swire Properties and designed by J. Scott Architecture. The 30-story tower at 888 Brickell Key Drive contains 289 residences ranging from one to five bedrooms, with floor plans between roughly 780 and 3,310 square feet.

Its location at the northern end of Brickell Key gives residences views toward the Miami River, downtown Miami, and Biscayne Bay. One Tequesta Point is the shortest of the three Tequesta towers — Two Tequesta Point reaches 40 floors and Three Tequesta Point 46 — and residents have access to the building's own amenity package as well as the island-wide facilities maintained by the master association.
